PRODUCT DESIGN, ART DIRECTION, BRANDING
SuperShe initially began as a women's only private island, providing a sanctuary for women to connect, support each other, and foster a sense of community. However, the exclusivity of a private island rendered this community inaccessible to many women who desired and needed such a supportive environment. Recognizing this limitation, the founder sought to transition the community onto a digital platform accessible to a broader audience.
We collaborated with SuperShe to transition their community from a private island to a digital app, ensuring accessibility to women worldwide. Our team spearheaded the branding, strategy, and merchandise development for the SuperShe brand, fostering inclusivity and empowering women to embrace their authentic selves.
Upon analyzing existing women's communities, we identified a common trend of prescribing specific roles and behaviors to women within those communities. Many imposed rigid expectations, dictating how women should act, dress, and pursue their goals. In response, SuperShe aimed to break free from this mold, allowing women to define their individual identities without conforming to societal norms.

I also designed a wide range of digital visuals for use in day-to-day social content and 360 social campaigns, which helped to build a strong following among women looking for a platform to connect, learn, and grow.

The Supershe app is a platform designed for women to connect, learn, and grow. The app provides a safe and supportive space for women to connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and learn new skills. With a focus on personal growth and wellness, the app offers a range of resources, from expert-led workshops to inspiring stories from women around the world. I was responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from user experience to visual design, ensuring that the app was not only intuitive and user-friendly but also aesthetically pleasing.
Throughout the project, I worked closely with the development team to ensure that the design was implemented smoothly and that the final product met the high standards set out from the beginning. I helped to ensure that the project was a resounding success, and that the SuperShe app stands out as a beautifully designed and well-executed platform for women to connect, learn, and grow.
The design of the SuperShe app is characterized by a bold and modern aesthetic that prominently features the colors black, red, and white. The black and white color scheme provides a high contrast backdrop for the app's content and features, while the use of red accents throughout the design helps to create a sense of energy and excitement. The app's interface is minimalistic and easy to navigate, with a clear emphasis on functionality and usability. The app features high-quality photographs and illustrations that are visually striking and engaging. The use of imagery helps to create a sense of community and connection within the app, as well as reinforcing the app's overall message of empowerment and support for women.
